What is called wood energy ?

Wood can be used under several forms as combustible for heating appliances (chimneys, open or closed fireplace, boiler, stove, etc). Wood is a perfectly renewable energy which nowadays represents only a few percent of the energy used in Europe.

Why using wood ?

The forest's surface is increasing and they must be taken care of properly. Harvesting ensures the protection of the forests and partakes to their sustainable development. Burning wood does not create more pollution than its natural deterioration, the effect on the environment is therefore positive.
